It was a trip to Jiaxing 🌸 We have visited Jiaxing during cherry blossom season, and it’s one of the best hidden gems 💎 for hanami in China. The soft pink petals, historic waterways, and peaceful parks make it a fantastic destination for photography. If you’re planning a trip, here’s our recommended itinerary with the best photo spots 📸 We explored Yuehe Historic Street in the early morning ⛅️ and the sight of cherry blossoms 🌸 lining the ancient canals was breathtaking. The contrast between the pink petals and the traditional white-walled buildings makes for stunning photos. I would recommend arriving before 9 AM to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before the crowds arrive 🙌 📍Yuehe Historic Street, Nanhu District, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China South Lake is one of the most famous attractions in Jiaxing, and we visited during peak bloom to capture the delicate cherry blossoms reflecting on the water 💧 The best spot for photos is near the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall, where the trees 🌳 frame the lake beautifully. Sunset here is also magical, with the golden light enhancing the pink hues. 📍South Lake Scenic Area, Nanhu District, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China Among all the places we explored, Jiangnan Cherry Blossom Park had the most impressive variety of cherry trees. The park is filled with different shades of pink, and we found a few small bridges that created perfect photo compositions 🙌 I would recommend visiting around mid to late March for the best full bloom experience 🌸 📍Jiangnan Cherry Blossom Park, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China We have visited Moon River Street in the evening, and the combination of softly lit cherry blossoms 🌸 and traditional lanterns made for incredible night photography. Walking along the riverside, we found beautiful spots where the blossoms reflected on the water, creating a dreamy atmosphere.
