There is a beautiful ancient temple next to Meicheng Ancient Town.

Yuquan Temple, originally known as Yuquan Nunnery, is a historic ancient temple in the south of Jiangnan. It is located in the southern foot of Wulong Mountain, north of Meicheng Town, Jiande City, and is a 5-minute drive from Meicheng Ancient Town. Yuquan Temple was built during the Tang Dynasty (AD 785-804) and has a history of more than 1,200 years. The entire temple is built against the mountain. The halls of Yuquan Temple are built layer by layer, from the lowest Heavenly King Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Guanyin Pavilion, to the Daxiong Hall on the top of the mountain, as well as the Medicine Buddha Hall and the God of Wealth Temple! It takes 15-20 minutes to climb from the foot of the mountain to the top. You can look down and far away at each level, and you can see the twin towers piercing the clouds!
