We were two families with children, so we chose the family room at Xiangzhou Garden Hotel. You can see the Yalu River view from the room, and it is close to the museum and Huopen Street, just a few minutes' walk. 💗Other tips: 1. Ji'an is a small leisure city with a population of only 200,000. It has a pleasant climate, beautiful scenery, and low prices, making it suitable for slow travel with children. 2. Ji'an Morning Market best reflects the local people's daily life. It offers breakfast, specialties, and fresh produce. You don't necessarily have to buy anything; it's mainly about experiencing the slow pace of life. The morning market usually ends around 8 a.m. 3. Big Guitar Square is best visited in the evening. There are various performances every night. Seeing the bright lights around you in contrast to the darkness across the river is quite touching. 4. For the Goguryeo Heritage Scenic Area, it is recommended to visit the museum next to Big Guitar Square and hire a guide to explain the history of Goguryeo. As for the royal city and tomb groups, they are just a 5A scenic area made of stones. If you are not very interested in history and archaeology, it is not recommended to visit. 5. The National Gate Scenic Area is a place you will regret not visiting, but also regret visiting. It's just to see the cross-river railway and highway.
