Island Vibes & Ridge Walks

#summervacay Dongseoksan on Jindo Island is one of those mellow but beautiful hikes that kinda sneaks up on you. It’s not super tall or intense, but the views and peaceful vibes? Top tier. The trail starts off nice and easy, with gentle forest paths and that salty sea breeze drifting in from the coast. As you climb higher, the trees open up and suddenly, you’re walking along a ridgeline with these unreal views of the ocean and nearby islands. It feels super wide-open and airy, almost like you're floating between sea and sky. Totally zen. The summit itself is cozy, with big rocks to chill on and full 360-degree scenery. I just sat up there for a while, soaking in the wind and snapping pics. Not many people around, either, big bonus. Dongseoksan’s perfect if you want a relaxing hike with island flavor and a big-view payoff without totally wrecking your legs. Bring snacks, take your time, and enjoy the chill.
