Naejangsan Hike to Seoraebong: Scenic Views and Autumn Colors

The summit of Naejangsan, Sinseonbong (726m), takes about 6 hours round-trip to hike. I chose the shorter Seoraebong route, which offers stunning views of Naejangsan’s peaks and allows for plenty of time to visit Naejangsa Temple afterward. As of October 26, the fall foliage wasn’t at its peak, so I recommend visiting in early November for the best colors. The walk from the parking lot to the trailhead features a beautiful maple tree tunnel, making it worth walking instead of taking the shuttle bus (₩1,000 one-way). For great photos, don’t miss Uhwa Pavilion. If you descend from Sinseonbong, the cable car costs ₩10,000 round-trip for adults and offers breathtaking views.
