Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, a World Heritage Site

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak (성산일출봉) 🌋 is an extinct volcano. This peak is located on the eastern side of Jeju Island. The crater is quite large, about 600 meters wide and 90 meters high. Around the crater are almost 100 sharp rocks, which look like a crown. The beautiful view is so famous that Jeju Island has been honored as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. For those who plan to visit here, I recommend warming up your legs. Hehe, so you will have to walk a lot. It takes about 40 minutes to walk up the mountain, or about 1 hour, depending on your strength. There are stairs on the path. It is easy to walk at first, but it gets a bit steep when you reach the middle.
