Jeju's Hydrangea Hotspot: Cafe Mireina

Cafe Mireina, located on the west side of Jeju Island, offers stunning ocean views and numerous photo spots. The menu includes coffee, lattes, green tangerine ade, and salt bread. To access the hydrangea garden, each visitor is required to order at least one drink. The cafe spans three floors, boasting a spacious layout with group seating areas perfect for larger parties. On the day I visited, the air conditioning on the second and third floors was cooler than on the first floor, making it a more comfortable spot to relax. The first floor features two doors leading to the hydrangea garden. Along the path to the restroom, you'll find colorful flowers, foreign magazines, and tables set up for enjoying the hydrangeas. The interior of Mireina is adorned with flowers throughout, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, there's a photo zone with a large teddy bear in front of the hydrangea garden, making it a great place to capture memories with family, friends, or a partner. While the hydrangea garden isn't as expansive as other tourist attractions, it features charming paths lined with blue and purple hydrangeas surrounded by stone walls. Wooden chairs are strategically placed along the paths for photo opportunities. The garden also offers views of palm trees and fields, encapsulating the unique vibe of Hangyeong-myeon in Jeju City. The second and third floors of the cafe provide a cool and comfortable environment during summer, where visitors can enjoy coffee, ade, and salt bread while relaxing. The cafe's windows offer various angles to enjoy the ocean view, complemented by warm yellow lighting that creates a luxurious ambiance.
