Jeju Igeumdonji

I was determined to have my first meal in Jeju with fresh saury, mackerel, and other seafood, and the place I went to to achieve that goal was 'Igeumdonji' located in Jeju City. This place was strongly recommended by my brother-in-law (my sister's husband) who has a lot of experience in going to Jeju. After all, recommendations from experienced people are the best! 😎 The facilities were quite clean, comfortable, and spacious, and it was perfect for a large family meal. There were a total of 7 of us, including my children (2 nephews), and we were able to enjoy our meal in a satisfactory condition. We ordered 'Steel Plated Grilled Saury, Grilled Saury, Grilled Mackerel', which are the signature dishes that you can't miss when you think of Jeju. As you can see in the picture, it had an amazing visual! I really liked the generous portions. In the end, what I couldn't eat was the trap. 🤣 I slowly savored the hairtail, mackerel, abalone, and shrimp. Since they were just caught from the sea, the freshness lingered on my tongue. The seasoning of the hairtail stew wasn't too spicy, so it showed a spiciness that wasn't too spicy. It was the moment when I finally realized that I was in Jeju. The only downside is the outrageous price...😱 Well, it's Jeju, so I have to accept this price...🤣 But it was delicious and the portions were generous, so I was very satisfied.👍 I think I'll stop by again next time I go to Jeju. Next time I visit, I have to try the abalone butter grill and dombae meat they sell here!
