Samsung Hyeol, designated as Historic Site No. 134, is a popular attraction where cherry blossoms bloom every spring, attracting locals and travelers from both Korea and abroad who come to take photos. Starting from the main gate, Geonsimun, visitors can explore the inner gates such as Samsungmun, Samsungjeon, Jeonsacheong, and Sungbodang. Within the premises, you can find not only cherry blossom trees but also camphor trees, crepe myrtles, Japanese bayberry trees, hackberry trees, and Korean black pine trees. With a total of 701 trees and 43 species, the area is filled with flowers, making it an ideal spot for outings. At the entrance to Jeju Samsung Hyeol, following the Geonsimun gate, there is a large Dolharubang statue along with an information board introducing the site. Located near Jeju Airport, Jeju Samsung Hyeol is a paid tourist site with admission fees of 4,000 KRW for adults, 2,500 KRW for teenagers, and 1,500 KRW for children. Jeju residents can enjoy a 50% discount by presenting their ID. Additionally, cultural tour guides provide explanations six times daily from 11 AM to 4 PM, offering detailed insights into Jeju's history and culture, making it an educational destination. After passing through Geonsimun, visitors will find the ticket office where they can pay the admission fee via cash or card. Groups of 10 or more receive a discount of 1,000 KRW per person, and the paths are designed to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers for convenient access.
