This site is one of the most important historical landmarks on Jeju Island and is considered the ancestral home of the Jeju people. The area is surrounded by lush forests that give it an air of mystery and charm. I wandered among ancient trees and stone statues that told the stories of the three founding ancestors. Enjoy the tranquility of this sacred place and learn about Jeju’s ancient heritage. There was an explanatory board that provided detailed information about the history and myths associated with the site. Visiting Samseong was a great opportunity to immerse myself deeply into the local culture and history.
