Sangumburi Crater, transliterated as '산굼부리' in Korean, literally means 'volcanic crater' and is a crater with a circumference of over 2 kilometers. Sangumburi is the only flatland volcano on Jeju Island that is not located at the top of a mountain, but rather a deep pit on the ground.
