Asari Station, the sea and snow, Hokkaido Ocean View Train Guide

🌟 Chaoli is really easy to photograph and it’s so photogenic! Since when, Hokkaido JR Asari Station 📍 has become popular and has become a must-visit place for Chinese people going to Hokkaido. According to the lady attendant at the station, the station first became famous because of a Japanese star filming a drama here, and Ms. Ohkage is very busy maintaining security every day. 🚉 📍 Tips: Transportation: Buy a JR ticket for an ordinary train departing from Sapporo or Otaru for 750 yen. Only ordinary trains stop at every station (Figure 2, Figure 3, rapid trains do not stop and go inward). Asari is 10 minutes from Otaru and 35 minutes from Sapporo. You can take a free seat. You can see the sea from Chaoli Station to Qianhan Station. The framed view of the train facing the sea is also beautiful. (Figure 4) 📸 Stand facing inward and take photos: There are signs facing inward on both sides. The most classic way is to take photos at the sign on the seaside (sea, snow, the station sign and you, as shown in my photo in Figure 1). In this case, you will need a partner to cross the middle passage (Figure 5) to the other side to help you take photos. If there aren't many people queuing up to take pictures, you can get on the bus directly after taking your photos, as there is basically one bus every half an hour (see Figure 6 for the timetable of Chaoli Platform). 🏞️ Around Chaoli Station: Chaoli Station (Picture 7) is a small station with basically no staff. You can exit the station at will without swiping your card, and the sea is right outside the station (Picture 8). In addition to taking photos on the platform, you can also walk out of the station to the beach. 📝 PS: There was a lady who managed the station. She was very nice and interesting. We chatted there for a long time. She said that thanks to a certain big star, her work is now very busy and fulfilling every day (shouting loudly: The train is about to arrive at the station, it is dangerous, please stay away from the platform and lean back). The main reason is that too many people have gone there to take photos recently, and we are afraid of accidents.
