Smile Hotel I chose Smile Hotel for this trip to Osaka. It costs about 1,300 yen to go directly from the airport to Namba and then take a taxi. If you don’t have much luggage, you can take the subway from Namba to Nagahoribashi one stop and walk about 600 meters. The room was clean and bigger than expected. Address: 2-8-17 Higashi-Shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka. Kaiyukan I highly recommend Kaiyukan! Really happy! One voice introduction is enough for two people, I ordered two which was a bit of a waste. If you don't know the names and characteristics of the animals, you won't be able to understand Japanese. Address: 1-1-10 Kaigandori, Minato-ku, Osaka City. Kizu Market Kizu Market is closed on Wednesdays! Be careful not to miss the target. We were disappointed because the seafood restaurant was crowded and we couldn't even eat even after waiting in line. Address: 2-2-8 Shikizu-Higashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City. Kyoto It is very convenient to go from Osaka to Kyoto, about an hour by train. There are many shops renting kimonos on the street, and the price is two to three hundred yuan a day. We mainly went there for Kaiseki cuisine, so we didn't rent a kimono. Otherwise the photos should be very good. Shinsaibashi There are many places to eat in Shinsaibashi and the shopping malls are also fun to visit. On our first night in Osaka we spent some time walking around and eating in Shinsaibashi. You can check Tabelog for food reservations. Some restaurants allow direct reservations or will have a reservation website address. The kaiseki restaurant I went to was a bit disappointing. Hand-Pulled Noodle The two ramen restaurants in front of the hotel are both good and recommended. There is a ramen shop at the Shinsaibashi intersection. Don't eat there, it's terrible! Barbecue Eating yakiniku in Osaka is really delicious even with your eyes closed. A barbecue restaurant I stumbled upon randomly in Shinsaibashi is called Dahuan.
