Onrust Island is the first island Ive visited at Kepulauan Seribu. This island one of the three island that has been classified as heritage site by the local governor considering the long and dark history that happened in this island at colonial era. There is much to explore if you are a big fan or curious about Indonesian colonial era history. You will find plenty of ruins surround the island, Dutch cemetery complex at the back of the island and also a sacred cemetery whose belong to S.M. Kartosoewirjo. The only single building that still standing has been used as Museum that displayed the history of Onrust Island.
