Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens 🇺🇸

#myhiddengems I had a fantastic day at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida! 🦓 Located just a short drive from downtown, this zoo offers a rich blend of wildlife and lush landscapes. The entrance fee was about $22 for adults, which I felt was a great deal for the range of exhibits and experiences available. The “Wild Florida” section was a highlight, showcasing native species like Florida panthers and black bears. 🐾 I also loved the “Range of the Jaguar” exhibit, where I saw magnificent jaguars and other exotic animals. 🐆 The zoo’s beautiful botanical gardens provided a serene backdrop to my visit, with walking paths through vibrant plant displays and peaceful water features. The “African Savanna” area was another favorite, with giraffes and rhinos in expansive habitats. After exploring the zoo, I enjoyed a leisurely walk through the nearby historic district of Riverside, which is full of charming shops and cafes.
