Every time I come to Okinawa, I will visit the "Itoman Fisherman's Shokudo" in Itoman. It has its own fish market and the fish are fresh. This time we arrived at around 1pm during lunch time on a weekday and had to wait about half an hour to get a table. I always come here to eat their "Butter Fried Fish Set", and this time is no exception. If you order the "Butter Fried Fish Set", the price will be based on the fish you order. You can choose on the small blackboard. By the time we got a seat, there was only one last item of whole fish left, which cost about 2,000 yen. First came the appetizers, which included seared sashimi and sashimi salad. The sauce was appetizing and the sashimi was fresh. Butter fried fish can be served with green sauce, yellow sauce or red sauce. This time I chose green sauce and the fish was fried on an iron plate. The surface of the fish was super crispy and the fish meat was fresh and tender. The fish is big and tasty, super satisfying.
