Lago di Braies is the destination that should have been on everyone’s radar, but especially photographers’. It is by far the most picturesque lake in Italy (and might be the whole world). Get a quiet spot on the still lake with most magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, set your tripod in the early morning for the best reflection and snap that spectacular view. If not into photography, you’ll still be able to appreciate the gorgeous scenery all around you.
