📍Amalfi Coast, Italy ⭐️A UNESCO World Heritage Site ⭐️Rated by the BBC as one of the 50 places you must visit in your lifetime On this trip to southern Italy, I visited the most popular lemon town on the Amalfi Coast - 🍋 Positano It's like a dream: when you're there, it doesn't seem so real; when you leave, it becomes vivid. 🚍[Public Transport] 1️⃣From Naples Central Station, take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. Ticket price: €4.6 (one way) 2️⃣Get off at Sorrento Station, and buy a bus ticket to Positano at the convenience store next door, i.e. SITA BUS (see photo 10). Ticket price: €2.4 (one way), the journey takes about half an hour, and the view is better on the right side of the bus. ❣️TIPS: 💛I stayed in Naples, so I traveled to and from the surrounding cities on the same day. Buy a round-trip train ticket in advance in Naples. 💛If you are going to Positano and not staying in the town, remember to buy a round-trip bus ticket in Sorrento. The town is small, and tickets often sell out during peak season, so you don't want to miss your return trip. 💛You can also buy a bus ticket to Amalfi directly from SITA BUS and travel counterclockwise. First to Amalfi (about 1 hour), then back to Positano, and finally back to Sorrento. 💛The whole journey is a winding mountain road with cliff views, so remember to prepare motion sickness medicine in advance. 💛In addition to taking the bus to each town, you can also choose to travel by boat during peak season, which is a better experience than the bus. 🍋[Recommended Spots] 🟡Bus stop (via cristoforo colombo 175) This is the most popular photo spot on Instagram and the filming location for the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun." I stood under the bougainvillea hedge, gazing out at the Mediterranean Sea, admiring the steep terrain, the rainbow-colored houses built on the hills, the sea breeze blowing gently, swaying with a thousand charms, unchanged for a thousand years, still charming! 🟡Spiaggia Grande This is known as the most beautiful beach in Europe. Located in the bay, surrounded by colorful houses, it is a sight to behold and is the most common scenery in postcards and painters' oil paintings. 🟡Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta It is the landmark of the town, with its exterior walls painted in milky yellow and its colorful ceramic dome, making it the most dazzling building in the town. Many locals hold their weddings here. 🍋In summer, lemon trees can be seen everywhere in the town. In winter, lemons are rare, with only a few scattered around. Most of the shops are closed. I couldn't find the fruit stand I was hoping to take a photo with. But at least I got an undisturbed private experience.
