It is definetly something you can't miss when you are in Istanbul. Here, three of the sides of the city are connected via tram and ship. From the Bosphorus you can see the iconic Galata tower, the 15 Temmuz Bridge and the stunning big mosques of the European side. If you want to enjoy a boat trip but you don't want to pay hundreds for luxury cruises then just take the passanger ship from Eminönü to Kadiköy, ticket costs 6 liras and it is about 20 mins. It is a more enjoyable way to cross the city than the crowded metro or trams. There are both indoor and outdoor seats.
