[Cat Island] Tashirojima, where there are more cats than people

Tashirojima in Miyagi Prefecture is about 40 minutes by ferry from Ishinomaki. The island is not very populated, with only a few buildings that look like a campsite and a cafe. There are also many ruins and vacant houses. It was raining on the day we visited, but if you go on a sunny day, there are cats everywhere. They are very friendly. You can walk around the island.
