#FuriTabi A popular course for climbing Mt. Oyama in Kanagawa Prefecture. Starting from the lower shrine of Afuri Shrine, the course takes about 5 hours (with breaks) to reach the summit of Mt. Oyama via the main approach, Fujimidai, and the descent via the observation deck. Along the way, there are spots where you can experience rare nature, such as Meoto Sugi, Nijutaki waterfall, and virgin fir forests, and you can enjoy climbing while feeling the seasons such as fresh greenery and autumn leaves. The view of Mt. Fuji from Fujimidai is also one of the attractions of this course. It is a popular climbing route for beginners as well, as you can take a cable car to an altitude of about 700m in one go.
