The Meoto Iwa rocks in Toba are two large rocks tied together with a rope. You can easily get there by bus from Toba Station. These rocks are said to be the home of the gods of Ise Jingu, and are especially symbolic of marital harmony and good relationships. The rocks are said to be beautiful against the backdrop of the sunrise or sunset. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to come at that time... By the way, the best time to see the sunrise rising between the Meoto Iwa rocks is May to July. Also, during the full moon from November to January, you can see the moon rising between the Meoto Iwa rocks. If you can time it right, be sure to go! There are also shrines, promenades, and a small sandy beach in the surrounding area. It's not too wide, so it's just the right distance for a stroll.
