Queens Park, Invercargill, New Zealand

It is the southernmost city in New Zealand and the capital of the Southland Region. Generally, few tourists come here, but after we came here, we really recommend it. It is a very comfortable city. This is our second time in New Zealand, and we thought we should go somewhere different, so we headed south here. One of the biggest itineraries for our two kids this time was to look for parks and playgrounds. There is one in the huge Queens Park, and we didn’t expect it to be so huge, covering 80 hectares. We thought there must be a playground in it, and sure enough, there were almost all the activities we had played before, and there was also an additional water play area, and even a very thoughtful design for wheelchair-bound children to play on the swings. It is really a super friendly city.
