A Dream Cruise on the Ponant Jacques Cartier! 🚢✨

#cruiseholiday The Ponant Jacques Cartier cruise ship has 7 levels, with floors 3 to 6 being dedicated to guest rooms and most of the ship's activities. It was amazing to wake up every day to a stunning sea view. The proximity to the library was a nice bonus, as I could occasionally do some work while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. It truly felt like a luxurious retreat! On the 5th floor, you’ll find the Captain’s Bridge, which is open during limited hours. It’s an incredible experience to step inside, hear the passionate crew share their exciting maritime stories, and witness the operational heart of the ship. If you're in the mood for fine dining, the 4th floor features a sophisticated French restaurant, where you can indulge in fine wine, foie gras, and caviar. The ambiance alone makes it an unforgettable dining experience! However, being someone with an Asian palate, I found myself particularly drawn to the Grill Restaurant on the 3rd floor. The talented Filipino chef’s skills were on full display as he seamlessly blended Western and Asian cuisines. The result? Exquisite surprises like Indonesian fried rice, roast pig, South Asian roasted chicken rice, and even fresh fish caught by local fishermen when we arrived at Banda Island! Every meal was a new and delightful adventure. On the 7th floor, there’s a fitness center, sauna, and even a barber shop to help you unwind and feel rejuvenated, both inside and out. A secret gem of the ship is the "Blue Eye" observation chamber located on the 11th floor. Walking into it felt like entering a submarine! You can observe the ocean floor in real-time, and by night, it transforms into a mesmerizing bar, offering an extraordinary underwater nightlife experience. #travel
