An old textile mill turned into a cafe

A short 1 or 1.5hr drive to the west of Seoul, you will find one of the most famous cafes in Ganghwado Island, called 조양방직 (Joyang Bangzik), which translates to Joyang Textile Mill. Joyang Textile Mill was built in 1933 as the very first and the largest textile factory in the country. As time passed by, most textile factories were either built or relocated to either Gumi and Daegu after 1960s, and the factory disappeared into the history afterwards.
