obanzai meal

Food was all tasty and sophisticated whatever we ordered. The price was reasonable and the service was super efficient. This was a very interesting meal. Everything was lightly seasoned so it was not in your face, making it enjoyable to switch from one small plate to another. The winners that we ordered were the braised wagyu beef, three kinds of assorted oden, and grilled kyoto red chicken. They have table seating and bar seating. We were seated at the bar in front of the chefs which is the ideal place sit when going to obanzai style restaurant as it is close to the action and more lively. About 8 seats at the bar. And about 2 tables either side. We ordered many dishes, working our way through the menu starting with the cold starters which are displayed on the bar counter. We ordered beer and sake.
