Let me tell you why Iceland should be your next destination

#magicalxmastrip #iceland 1. Endless Breathtaking Views Iceland’s roads lead to some of the most jaw-dropping landscapes on Earth. From glaciers to volcanoes, waterfalls to black sand beaches, every turn brings a new “wow” moment. Trust us, your Instagram feed will thank you for this road trip. 2. It’s a Natural Spa (Sort of) Drive through geothermal hot springs, volcanic craters, and bubbling mud pots. Not to mention the famous Blue Lagoon where you can soak while surrounded by lava fields. You’ll leave feeling like a new person—albeit one that smells a little like sulfur. 3. You’ll Meet the Coolest Locals Icelanders are known for their friendly nature and, yes, their fondness for bizarre folklore. Expect to hear tales about elves and trolls while enjoying a cup of coffee in quirky little villages. Plus, you might encounter a sheep or two who seem to think they own the road. 4. The Midnight Sun (and the Northern Lights) Your road trip will either have 24 hours of daylight (in the summer) or a chance to chase the magical Northern Lights (in winter). Either way, Iceland’s celestial show will make you question why you’ve ever been to any other country. 5. A Never-Ending Adventure Iceland’s roads aren’t just a way to get from point A to point B—they’re a journey in themselves. The rugged, remote routes will give you the sense of being in an action-packed film, dodging geysers, lava fields, and maybe even a dragon or two. Okay, no dragons—but it sure feels like you’re in a fantasy world.

Blue Lagoon

When it comes to beautiful countries around the world, nordic countries hold a special place in my heart. Although my stay in Iceland was a short one because of business reasons, it was a life time experience that the memories remain fresh & green forever. I travelled to Reykjavik stayed there for 3 days, then travelled to even less touristy place and a sort of isolated place called Selfoss. It is more a agricultural town and the local economy bloomed because of a bridge constructed before WWII. This bridge is so important that the British troops guarded this bridge during WWII. Also it's believed that here is the first man settled in Iceland (not sure on the information credibility). Later I enjoyed the very famous geysers along with hot springs. I too booked with a tour group for Blue Lagoon day trip. Iceland is such a mesmerizing land. #urbanexplorer #leaveyourmark #nordictravel #iceland #urbanexplorer#leaveyourmark
