A'ershan Forest Park in Inner Mongolia

Inner Mongolia A'ershan National Forest Park is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, under the jurisdiction of the Inner Mongolia Daxing'anling Key State-owned Forest Management Bureau. Located within the territory of A'ershan City, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it is situated at the southwest foothills of the Greater Khingan Range. It was officially established on February 22, 2000, by the National Forestry Administration, with a total area of 103,150 hectares and a forest coverage rate of 80%. Attractions in A'ershan Forest Park include: Camel Peak Heavenly Pool, Heavenly Pool, Shitang Forest, Santan Gorge, Halaha River, River Source Grand Canyon, A'ershan National Geopark, Wusulangzi Lake, Unfrozen River, Dichi, etc. Camel Peak Heavenly Pool: A lake formed by the accumulation of water in a volcanic crater after a volcanic eruption. The water surface is at an altitude of 1284m. The overall shape is like a 'left foot', approximately 450m wide from east to west and about 800m long from north to south. It is estimated to have formed during the Middle Pleistocene epoch (about 300,000 years ago).
