This fortress is known as the "Oriental Maginot Line". After visiting, you will enter the underground. This underground fortress is very large, with a length of several tens of kilometers. It has a kitchen, ammunition depot, generator room, dormitory, etc. But these fortresses were built with the bones of Chinese laborers! When we went, it was a hot summer day, but in the underground fortress, it was freezing cold! Cold, solid, cold, narrow, slippery ground underfoot, water droplets condensing on the walls, steel bars as thick as fingers overhead, making you just want to leave quickly. When Japan announced its unconditional surrender, the Japanese troops stationed here were still resisting stubbornly. After walking out of the Hutou Fortress ruins, there is a mountain behind, where you can see obvious trenches. From the back mountain, you will walk back to the museum entrance square.
