Baoquan is truly beautiful.

It's a scenic spot with great value for money. Yesterday, I went up the mountain at 11:00 am and came down at 8:00 pm, spending the whole day there. Let me share some points I think you need to be aware of. [🔥] The parking lot is huge, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. But remember which parking lot you parked in, because the shuttle bus down the mountain will take you to different parking lots. [🔥] If you only want to visit the Grand Canyon, buy a ticket for the Grand Canyon. If you want to visit both Yatianxia and the Grand Canyon, buy a ticket for Yatianxia. [🔥] If you are bringing a baby and a stroller, I only recommend visiting the Grand Canyon. Although you can take the cable car up and the elevator down in Yatianxia, there is still a long mountain road in between, and you have to climb the mountain. Carrying a stroller up the mountain will make you question your life choices. [🔥] Take the cable car up and then climb to the top of Yatianxia. There is a free children's playground and performances. There is also a large cafeteria on the top of the mountain with a wide variety of food at reasonable prices. [🔥] Then start exploring Yatianxia. There are many scenic spots along the way, mostly accessible by walking. There are two sections where you can take a paid sightseeing bus, and the last section has a free sightseeing bus that takes you to the elevator, which then takes you down to the Grand Canyon. [🔥] There is a food street and performances in the Grand Canyon. There is also a paid sightseeing bus that goes directly down the mountain. If you don't want to see the light show and the molten iron fireworks, you can take the sightseeing bus directly to the shuttle bus waiting area, as it is quite a long walk. [🔥] Walking down the mountain, you will see icefalls, although they have started to melt. Then there is the Cyber Dragon Palace light show, and there are two molten iron fireworks shows at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. [🔥] The ski resort is free because the ice has started to melt. Only the pirate ship requires a fee. There are food streets here, but not as many varieties as in the Grand Canyon. [🔥] After watching the performances, you can go down the mountain. You can walk to the shuttle bus area or take a paid boat. [🔥] There are many shuttle buses going up and down the mountain. You don't have to wait to go up, but there are many people going down, so you may have to queue for a bit. However, there are many buses, so you can get down the mountain quickly.
