The stunning scenery of Huangshan is worth the ticket price. Then head to Aoyu Peak Viewing Platform and Bright Summit to enjoy the magnificent scenery. Then walk to Flying Stone and Paiyun Pavilion to see the unique scenery of King Pine and Monkey Watching the Sea. Continue to Beihai, Black Tiger Pine, and Shixin Peak, and finally return to the south gate via Yungu Cableway Station and Yungu Temple. [Two] South-North Route: Take a shuttle bus from the south gate to Wenquan Station, then to Yuping Station to see the Guest-Greeting Pine. Then head to Aoyu Peak Viewing Platform, Bright Summit, Flying Stone, and Paiyun Pavilion. Then head to Danxia Station and Songgu Temple, and finally leave the scenic area from the north gate. 💡Important Notes [One] In winter, the Xihai Grand Canyon, Tiandu Peak, and the west gate of Huangshan are closed. Lotus Peak is also closed for maintenance and is not open to visitors. [Two] The front mountain of Huangshan (Ciguang Pavilion) is relatively steep, while the back mountain (Yungu Temple) is relatively gentle. [Three] If you want to see the sunrise and sea of clouds, we recommend staying at a hotel in the scenic area. The area around Bright Summit is a good choice, but the price is relatively high. If you don't want to see the sunrise and sea of clouds, hotels outside the scenic area, such as Tangkou Town at the south gate, are affordable and cost-effective. [Four] Winter in Huangshan is extremely cold. Please keep warm and take precautions against slipping and wind. We recommend preparing equipment such as crampons and outdoor jackets in advance, as they are relatively expensive in the scenic area.
