Tai Ping Lake

Tai Ping Lake is a wetland scenic area, located in Huangshan District, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, located on the golden tourist line of Huangshan City, between Huangshan City and Jiuhua Mountain, and is the link between Huangshan and Jiuhua Mountain. The area is 257.17 square kilometers, and the water area is 65.35 square kilometers. Tai Ping Lake was originally named Chen Village Reservoir. In 1970, in order to prevent floods, irrigation and aquaculture, Chen Village Reservoir was built. In 1979, in order to keep consistent with the place name and facilitate the development of tourism, Chen Village Reservoir was renamed Tai Ping Lake. Tai Ping Lake Scenic Area is divided into five major scenic areas: Gongxing, Guangyang, Huangjing, Longmen, and Sanmen.
