Huai Mongkol Temple, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Wat Huai Mongkol This temple was founded in 1964. It was originally just a small monk’s residence and later became a temple. The first abbot of the temple was Luang Pho Plang Phabhaso from 1964 to 1991. It was originally called “Wat Huai Khot”. During the reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, Rama IX, he gave it a new name as “Wat Huai Mongkol”.
