Falling in love with Hua Hin

I've been to many cities in Thailand, but nothing quite compared to Hua Hin. Beautiful beaches, weather and very friendly people. After our 13 hours train ride from HatYai, we finally arrived in HuaHin. Our hotel was 800m away from the train station, but we decided to take a tuktuk that only cost 100 Baht. There were a couple night markets in HuaHin - Cascada, Tamarine, and Hua Hin night market - that sells items for a more reasonable price. It's definitely smaller than Bangkok's market but I love how you can look around without sellers calling out for your attention. Similarly with the beaches. It has clear water and white sands. Unlike Phuket, you'll be able to enjoy the sound of waves crashing without anyone trying to sell you anything. This hidden gem is my perfect getaway from the hussle and bustle of the city. We also felt safe walking at night from places to places. Recommended Places to Visit: We headed to Ob Oon for breakfast, had 2 breakfast platter for about 600 Baht. The portion was generous, I recommend sharing it if you're a small eater. We discovered this icecream and cat cafe just a couple minutes walk from our hotel. Affordable and adorable cats. 2 scoops of coconut ice cream, 2 Thai milk tea and never ending attention from the cats for 180 Baht. Lets Sea restaurant was amazing. Great food, nice view and very attentive staff. Their grilled squid with lime was 10/10. Place to skip: Venezia was an almost abandoned Austria-themed themed park. We had to pay 100 Baht/pp for entry. You can also pay 299 Baht for some rides and kids activities, like 3D meseum. #passionpassport #mustvisit #mustdo #themepark #beachlife
