Pavilion in the middle of the water at Khao Tao Reservoir, Prachuap Khiri Khan📍

Khao Tao Reservoir is located in Nong Kae Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, in a small village by the sea near the mountain. It looks like a turtle. That's why this area is called Ban Khao Tao. Most of the villagers here work as fishermen. King Rama IX ordered the Royal Irrigation Department to build Khao Tao Reservoir in 1962. It is considered the first royal project of the Royal Irrigation Department. In the middle of the water, there is a pavilion built to enshrine the statue of King Rama IX.
