Hsinchu Secret Place - Simakus Giant Trees Walking into the deepest part of Simakus, there are huge red cypress trees everywhere. Enter the front of the giant tree trail group and you will see the giant tree about 10 floors high😱 The deeper we go, the thicker the trees become. When we reach the deepest part, we find a huge tree. It looks like it may be 20 stories high, and these are all thousand-year-old trees! The spectacular sight even surpasses the Alishan sacred trees.
