Ob Luang National Park

Ob Luang National Park is located in Hang Dong Subdistrict, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province. This park has Khao Khad Gap with cliffs parallel to Mae Chaem River, creating a deep valley. The depth of the cliff, measured from the Ob Luang Bridge to the normal water level, is about 32 meters. The narrowest part is 2 meters wide, with a rapid stream flowing through it. The length of the gorge is about 300 meters. On top of the cliff, there is a bridge connecting Khao Khad Gap, allowing tourists to admire the beauty of Ob Luang. In this area, the sound of water hitting the cliff is heard all around. After crossing the bridge, there is also a point where prehistoric archaeological sites have been excavated. There are ancient human graves, human skeletons from the Bronze Age, which are between 2,500-3,500 years old, and white paintings at the Elephant Cliff. If coming from Chiang Mai city, take Highway 108, Chiang Mai-Hot-Mae Sariang. When you reach Hot District, turn right at the roundabout and go straight for about 17 kilometers.
