I recommend this hotel in Hohhot When traveling to Inner Mongolia, we stayed in Hohhot for two nights, but not consecutively, it was the first night and the third night. The hotel experience was very good, and the cost performance was very high. This hotel is the Kaiyuan Mingting Hotel, a relatively new hotel, which I saw started operating in 2023. Room: We stayed in the family room and the Kaiyuan king bed room. The first night we stayed in the family room because we were upgraded for free, but there was no upgrade on the third night. We liked both rooms. Kids will definitely prefer the family room because it's really big, about 60 square meters, and it has a slide and a small tent in the room. I also felt that the king bed room was quite large, both were very comfortable, mainly because the decoration was very new and clean. Breakfast: The breakfast restaurant is not very large, but when we went to have breakfast, there were many empty seats, not many people, and the choices were not many but okay. It was much better than what we had at the volcano homestay. I liked the rice noodles cooked here, the beef broth was delicious. Service: The service was quite good. When we checked in at the front desk, they gave small toys to the kids, which made them very happy. If you need anything, the front desk responds quickly. Parking: Parking is easy, right at the door, and there is also an underground parking lot. I suggest not parking in the underground lot because the turns are difficult for big cars. Location: The location is very close to the airport, a 10-minute drive, convenient to go to Chifeng Grassland, but it is a bit far from the city center, about a 20-30 minute drive. This hotel was the most comfortable and also the cheapest during our trip to Inner Mongolia.
