Silka Hotel Tsuen Wan, Wo Yi Hop Road, Kwai Chung

This is my first stay. The hotel is located at 119 Wo Yi Hop Road, within the Kwai Chung factory area. The transportation is not very convenient. It takes about 10-12 minutes to get to Kwai Hing MTR station. There are not many buses or minibuses passing nearby. Good Hotel has a shuttle minibus to and from Tsuen Wan West Station. Nearby are the Xuyi Hotel Tsuen Wan and the Silka Far East Tsuen Wan Hotel, which is part of the Silka series. The hotel is on the edge of a factory area. There are only a few factory canteens and a few small shops in residential areas nearby. There are not many food options. Fortunately, there is a 7-store restaurant next to the hotel underground. The hotel reception is in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel. The lobby is spacious. However, my check-in time was already around 10 pm, and I had to wait for two or three people to queue up to check in. For some reason, there were already three receptionists working, but it was still very difficult to handle. It was slow. I waited for a full 10 minutes before it was my turn, and the processing time was almost 8 minutes. I had to pay a deposit of $500 before I could get the key to the room. I hope the hotel can improve the check-in procedures. The room is relatively small, with a small double bed by the window and no space for a table or chair. The basic equipment is fairly complete, but there is no wardrobe. There are not many electrical sockets, but there are USB charging plugs, which is worth a thumbs up! The toilet and shower room are separated by glass doors to separate dry and wet areas, but the shower water power is very weak, and toiletries and large and small towels are basically complete. The hotel is basically okay, only worth 3 stars, but the location is remote.
