Tai Tam Reservoir

Take bus No. 6 from Central to Stanley Road and get off at Wilson Path stop. As soon as you get off the car and walk up the mountain, you will reach Magang Mountain. This section of the trail is more difficult to travel because there are no tall trees to provide shade, and you have to climb very high stairs up the mountain under scorching sunlight. You will pass through two hills, called Magang Mountain, and pass Zigang Bridge on the way, which represents the transition between Magang Mountain and Violet Mountain. It took about 1.5 hours to walk through Maple Stage. You can choose to continue to challenge Violet Hill at the Zigang Bridge, or you can choose two other routes, heading towards Tai Tam Reservoir or Repulse Bay Road. Finally, I chose to head towards Tai Tam Reservoir, passing through the Tai Tam Reservoir Heritage Trail, which took about 1.5 hours.
