Colorful Silhouettes: Hong Kong

As it is true for it's name's origin, Victoria Harbour in Hongkong is undoubtedly one, if not the most iconic and recognizable skyline in the world. The harbour was originally called "Hong Kong Harbour", but was later renamed to "Victoria Harbour", to assure shelter for the British fleet under Queen Victoria. Victoria Harbour separates Hong Kong Island from Kowloon. The natural geographical feature of the Harbour makes the Hong Kong skyline a sight to behold. One of the best places to watch the magnificent formation of colors is The Peak atop Victoria Peak to the direction towards Hong Kong Island as it allows an unobstructed view of the formation of lights from the skyscrapers become superimposed against the ridges from behind. You may also just take a walk along the paved walkways along Avenue of the Stars or hop into any of the Hong Kong Ferry and enjoy the lights of the skyscrapers reflected by the deep sheltered waters of the Victoria Bay. #meethongkong #celebratewithtrip
