Afternoon tea without feeling greasy

The weather this week was average, with frequent rain, so we could only do some indoor activities, one of which was of course Hong Kong girls’ favorite afternoon tea! Location: Although it is in a busy area, you actually have to climb some stairs up the mountain. You can also go through Miramar Shopping Centre to Knutsford Terrace. This location is really a bit remote. Environment: Almost the entire floor is a restaurant, so it is quite spacious and divided into two areas. One side is a stylish bar with a row of glass wine cabinets that are really eye-catching, while the other side is a leisurely check-in style with several seats in white bird cages. It is quite beautiful. It would be more lively if there were more plants! Service: I never expected that refreshments could be served within five minutes of placing the order. How fast! Afternoon Tea: There are two types, one is all savoury and the other is savoury desserts, and we chose: All Savoury Afternoon Tea $428 The whole afternoon tea has two floors, the lower floor: 🔸Baked Cherry Tomato Cream Cheese Bread The lightly roasted yellow and red cherry tomatoes served with cream cheese and small slices of French bread are refreshing and not greasy, making them a perfect appetizer. 🔸Charcoal grilled prawns with avocado tart The prawns didn’t seem overcooked, but they were big and tasty enough. The soft and smooth avocado sauce was the finishing touch, and it went really well with the crispy tart outer layer. 🔸Parma ham with honeydew melon Cut the sweet melon into rectangular shapes, put the ham on top, and string the two together with bamboo sticks. It’s a classic combination! 🔸Grilled sesame tuna There are a lot of sesame seeds on the outer layer, which is chewy with the tender tuna, but the taste is average. upper layer: 🔹Foie gras mousse toast with jam The appearance is so much like a cake that I thought it was real. It has a refreshing lemon flavor and is slightly sour! 🍹Queen garden $38 I really like the thick cheese milk cap 😍, the rose scent is not too strong, it feels like drinking perfume, 👍🏻 it is the best drink I have ever had in afternoon tea! In conclusion, in the past afternoon tea was always a mixture of sweet and savory, which would make you feel greasy at the end.
