Explore the New Landmark at Kai Tak: The Perfect Journey of Sports and Leisure

A One-Day Tour of Kai Tak Sports Park and Retail Pavilion Last weekend, I finally found time to visit the brand-new landmark in Kai Tak, Kowloon — Kai Tak Sports Park and Kai Tak Retail Pavilion. This visit gave me a perfect blend of sports and leisure, truly an energetic experience! In the morning, I started from Exit D of Kai Tak MTR Station and walked about 8 minutes to reach Kai Tak Sports Park. The park covers 28 hectares and is magnificent, with the dome-shaped Kai Tak Main Stadium being the most eye-catching. Inspired by the "Pearl of the Orient," its exterior shines with a blue-purple hue under the sunlight, making me want to take several photos. The park’s open environment, with a central plaza and the lush South Promenade, offers unobstructed views of Victoria Harbour, perfect for a stroll and photo ops. Entering the Kai Tak Retail Pavilion, I was amazed by its 700,000 square feet of space. The pavilion consists of three buildings connected by the 700-meter-long Kai Tak Sports Avenue, housing nearly 200 shops. I first explored Retail Pavilion 1, where the ground floor is filled with sports brand stores like Nike, Adidas, and Decathlon — a paradise for sports enthusiasts! The food court "Food Gala" on the second floor was bustling with people. I tried the Michelin-recommended "Mian Xian Soy Sauce House Zhou Yue," and the rich soy sauce broth was unforgettable. Next, I went to the "Top Bowl" bowling center in Retail Pavilion 3. It features 40 international-standard bowling lanes in a spacious and bright environment, with a stylish bar nearby, creating a great atmosphere for playing and drinking! I also visited the Japanese indoor amusement park JOYPOLIS SPORTS, which includes themed areas like "Sonic Playground" and "NINJA DOJO." I played several interactive games that were thrilling and fun, perfect for the whole family. In the afternoon, I enjoyed an outdoor dinner at "Food Bay," savoring the sunset over Victoria Harbour — it was incredibly relaxing. The park’s outdoor space "Four Seasons Breeze" also features ground art themed on the 24 solar terms called "Flowing Moments," allowing me to feel the fusion of nature and culture. Overall, Kai Tak Sports Park and Retail Pavilion are not only great places for sports and shopping but also a new landmark for leisure and entertainment. Whether you want to watch concerts, sports events, or shop and dine, this place has it all! Next time friends visit Hong Kong, I will definitely recommend they experience this vibrant new world!
