No longer famous, but with a long history

This time I took my mother to staycation, and we stayed in a historic Wan Chai Hotel, which was as famous as the Peninsula Hotel at that time, but now it has declined, and after reconstruction, it has no architectural features of that time 😒, it is just an ordinary commercial hotel. When looking at the history of the hotel, in 1933, the rent was only one dollar, so you can imagine how exaggerated the inflation was. 🤨 Location: Exit A2 of Wan Chai, walk along the waterfront for about ten minutes. There are many restaurants near the hotel, making it very convenient for shopping or dining. 😚 Facilities: No pool, just a gym. The lobby is elegant and features a display of the hotel's history. Package: One Superior Twin Room, All You Can Eat Afternoon Tea and Breakfast for Two $1022 Room: It is quite large, with two double beds, two hairdressing chairs and tables, a workbench, and a bathtub in the bathroom. The overall facilities are complete. The view is densely packed with buildings. It was originally very good, but after taking a shower, there were three red spots on the soles of my feet, as if I was bitten by lice. After one night, even my hands had red spots, and I realized that it was not completely clean. Maybe the room had not been occupied for a long time and might not have been cleaned, so I was bitten as soon as I moved in. Service: The staff is very polite and the procedures are handled quickly. 🥰 However, apart from its long history, this hotel really doesn't have any special features. No wonder so few young people come to stay here.
