This time I boarded the ship from Barcelona and took the MSC World Europa to travel around the port cities in the Mediterranean. The stop that surprised me the most was the capital of Malta, Valletta. It was so chill!!! After getting off the ship, walk to the right for a few minutes and you will see a glass elevator. It costs 1 euro to go directly to the old town (remember to keep the ticket stub, it is a round-trip ticket~) ✨ Elevator location: Upper Barrakka Gardens The elevator goes up to a viewing platform, where you can overlook the entire port. There is a Royal Salute at 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm every day, but I think you can just take a look and don't need to go there specifically. 📸 Recommended photo location: Cafe Society It opens around 12:00 noon, so you don't have to go too early. Order a glass of wine or coffee here and feel the sea breeze and life in Malta. It's super relaxing~ 🚤 Ferry experience｜Valletta ↔ Three Cities Across from Valletta is the legendary "Three Cities". It is recommended to take a **special water taxi (similar to a gondola)** for round trip, which is super flavorful and only costs 3 euros! 🛶 Boarding point information: • To the Three Cities (From Valletta): Lascaris Water Taxi Station (right next to the Gozo Fast Ferry) • Back to Valletta (From Three Cities): Il-Birgu Water Taxi Station This section of the sea boat experience is really very pleasant and perfect for taking photos! 💍 Surprise｜Handmade Ring Stall While walking in Valletta, I actually met an old lady setting up a stall to make handmade rings! You can choose the stone yourself, and the grandma will make it for you on the spot~One is only 7 euros, and 3 are only 20 euros. It is completely niche and has commemorative value.
