Three of the new works in 2022 depict his favorite local Hong Kong food with Hong Kong characteristics and emotional atmosphere: Big Buddha Egg Waffles, Joy, Anger and Sorrow Egg Tarts, and Water Playing Mandarin Duck Coffee🤣🤣🤣 The paper box shaped like the Buddha's face contains the plump and delicious egg waffles, which uses humorous packaging to convey my fantasy. The various shapes of caramel-colored baking marks on the egg tarts reminded me that some of them resembled human expressions, so I created this "Happy, Anger and Sad Egg Tarts" with egg tarts that have emotional expressions. Based on the literal association, a pair of mandarin ducks playing in the water and loving each other are painted on the surface of the coffee drink.
