Hong Kong｜Kai Tak One-Day Tour 🪾

While everyone loves exploring new shops and new things at the new Kai Tak mall, I personally enjoy walking around the area outside the Kai Tak mall! 🙈 The weather is great, neither cold nor hot, making it a perfect time to sit outdoors and breathe in the fresh air. 😆 Right outside Kai Tak MTR Station is the Kai Tak Development Center. There is a water pool in the middle of the plaza, and many staircases where visitors can sit and rest. In the distance, you can see the landmark building The Twins 🏗️. Houses are still being built around, but it doesn’t affect the view in front of you. 🙈 The Kai Tak Station plaza has a large pedestrian bridge that directly connects to the Kai Tak Retail Pavilion. Along the way, you can pass a large grassy area where many dogs and their families play. In front of the Kai Tak Sports and Arts Center, there is also a children’s playground. On weekends, there are street performances that bring endless joy and laughter to the kids. Besides the children’s playground at Kai Tak Station plaza, there is another very interesting playground on the way to Sung Wong Toi MTR Station, featuring special slides, a huge net climbing structure, a small sandpit, and even a digger… Not only is there a place for adults to relax, but kids can also burn off all their energy 😆. 🚇🚇🚇 Kai Tak is located in Kowloon. It used to be an airport, but now it has become an area full of malls and residential buildings. (One can’t help but marvel at how much Hong Kong has changed with the times.) Today, Kai Tak is Hong Kong’s largest integrated sports and entertainment center landmark. Kai Tak Sports Park, Kai Tak Retail Pavilion, Airside, and The Twins are all great places to hang out. Kai Tak is close to Kowloon City and To Kwa Wan, very near the Tuen Ma Line “Kai Tak Station” and “Sung Wong Toi Station,” making transportation extremely convenient. The space here is spacious enough to accommodate a large crowd. 🚇 This time, I only walked around the entire Kai Tak perimeter, which took some time. If you want to explore all the new and interesting things, it’s impossible to complete the mission with energetic kids. (So it can be saved for next time or multiple visits to finish exploring.) 😆 This visit happened to coincide with JJ Lin’s concert 🎶, which attracted a huge crowd to Kai Tak Sports Park.
