New Year Gathering

A New Year family gathering, not wanting to go out and squeeze with others, and also not wanting to cook a big meal. Since the main purpose is to meet up, we casually bought some food from a nearby restaurant and ate at the clubhouse in the estate, which was more comfortable and free. The roast chicken is the restaurant's signature dish, with crispy skin and tender meat, living up to its reputation. The char siu was half lean and half fat, but lacked some honey flavor. We also ordered a few dim sum dishes. The shrimp dumpling skin was slightly thick, the siu mai was better, the chicken feet were okay, and it was the version with thick-cut ham. The bean curd rolls were just average. We finished with a plate of stir-fried beef noodles, added some homemade New Year cakes, chatted a bit, and celebrated the New Year happily.
