Delicious Burgers

For those who love good beef, burgers are a must-have, and I'm no exception! Today, my wife and I visited the Kai Tak Sports Park to check out the new developments in Hong Kong and had dinner at a fantastic burger joint. The place is called N+ BURGER. Despite its Western name, it's actually a local shop with its own farm in Australia, showing their dedication to making great burgers. The interior is fresh and vibrant, but what I love most are the old photos of Kai Tak Airport on the walls, which bring back fond memories for someone like me who grew up in East Kowloon. Today, we got to try burgers made from their farm's produce. How do they compare to other burgers out there? My wife and I each chose a burger. I, of course, went for the beef, while she, who doesn't eat beef, opted for the chicken fillet. We also added some sides and drinks, making for a very hearty meal. Like most fast-food places, the drinks here are mainly sodas. However, if you prefer coffee, they have plenty of options. My wife and I both chose their homemade sparkling lemonade, which was slightly sweet with a refreshing lemon flavor. Between fries and potato wedges, we chose the wedges. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not overly seasoned, allowing the natural sweetness of the potatoes to shine through. They were delicious and very filling. Each serving of wedges comes with a sauce. We chose honey mustard and added two more for an extra charge: smoked sauce and truffle sauce. All three were excellent, but I particularly liked the truffle sauce for its strong flavor. Why three sauces? Because we also added crispy chicken strips! The batter was light, and the chicken inside was juicy, crispy, and tender, far superior to typical fast-food offerings. This place is unique, even selling vegetables! We had roasted Brussels sprouts, which were slightly charred and had no bitterness, making them feel very healthy. I'm sure you're all eager to know if the burgers are any good! I ordered the most expensive one on the menu, the premium black truffle beef brisket burger, which was only $100! Being greedy, I also added premium Angus beef and cheese. The bread they use is sourdough, which is soft and substantial. The beef was flavorful with no gamey taste, and the toppings included sautéed mushrooms and lettuce, making it not too greasy. Most importantly, I felt satisfied after eating this burger. My wife had the flame-grilled chicken burger. She chose it because it included her favorite pineapple. I had a bite, and the sweetness of the pineapple combined with the juicy, flavorful grilled chicken was delightful. She also added healthy avocado sauce, making the burger even more delicious and smooth.
