Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Yuanzhouzi Natural Environment Protection Research Center 🌿

I took part in a guided tour for more than two hours on a hot afternoon. I visited this former Chief Secretary's residence, which is located on the coast of Tolo Harbour and has a history of more than a hundred years. The architecture here has a strong retro British style. I didn't expect the house to be much simpler than I imagined. The sea view of Tolo Harbour, the occasional egrets flying by, and the large garden outside the house are the treasures. When you are in it, you can imagine the scene of the former owner living here! The entire guided tour was very informative. First, we introduced the development history of Yuanzhouzi. We admired the architecture of the official residence and visited the interior to learn about the life of the former owner. Then we introduced the various plants in the English garden and their origins. We then walked to the coastline and mangroves of Yuanzhouzi to look for traces of marine life.
